• Sissano Rural Airstrip Legal Operation
  

Sissano (AYZN) Aerodrome became legally operational as sanctioned by

CASAPNG on Friday 26th January 2024.

• Sissano Rural Airstrip Opening; Friday 22nd December 2023
  

The Aitape-Lumi District Administration officiated the opening of Sissano

Airstrip on behalf of the Honorable Member for Aitape-Lumi and Sandaun

Governor. Mr. Job Tomur, the District Administrator had the honors to

officially cut the ribbon which was witnessed and celebrated by hundreds of

Aitape-West local populous.

• Project Eseno Phase 1 ends 30th August 2023
  

Project Eseno a rural aviation development project initiated by AMP AvCo in partnership with Sissano Landowners of Aitape District in West Sepik Province, PNG. Phase 1 of Project Eseno involves the Rehabilitation, Reactivation and Maintenance of Sissano Rural Aerodrome.
